As a member of our engineering team, you are responsible for the optimization of our high-tech tools as well as our processes in the field of plasma etching. You work in close cooperation with our customers in the semiconductor industry and support them in the production of high quality, competitive microprocessor, logic and memory products.

This is a limited position for the period of 18 months.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Technical monitoring and controlling of plasma etch processes and tools
  • Operational problem solving for tool problems or process deviations in close cooperation with other departments and local plant service teams
  • Development of new etching processes according to the requirements of the partners and customers of the AMTC
  • Systematical analyses and optimization of established etch processes for continuous defect reduction and yield enhancement
  • Interacting closely with the local service team and technology experts from tool vendors

Your profile:

  • A degree in physics, chemistry, microelectronics, materials science, or equivalent
  • Professional experience in the field of plasma etching is an advantage
  • Experience in implementing technological projects and interest in developing and implementing new ideas
  • Proficient use of statistical process analysis and control
  • Experience in programming (e.g. Java, R, Python) is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
